Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 03, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It's time to build. Figure is building the world's most capable general-purpose humanoid robot. XR systems play a key role in teaching our robots how to understand the world around them. The Role You’ll be working within our small but impactful XR team, contributing to a number of critical projects. One morning you might be debugging an XR app, the next afternoon you're running a hardware experiment on the robot. You'll thrive here if you love that kind of variety and move fast without needing a playbook. What You'll Do Build and maintain XR products to interface with our robots and data-capture hardware - implementing features, fixing bugs, and ensuring reliability as we scale Design and build out intuitive spatial user interfaces and visualizations Harden our XR data sync processes Integrate custom hardware stacks with off-the-shelf XR headsets Jump across hardware experiments, bug fixes, and new feature development as priorities shift What We're Looking F
