Senior Robotics Software Engineer, Simulation & Evaluation
About the Role We are looking for a Robotics Simulation Software Engineer to build and improve Field AI’s internal simulation tools used for autonomy development, debugging, and evaluation. This role is for someone who goes beyond simply running simulators. We are looking for an engineer who can maintain and extend simulation systems, improve code quality and fidelity, debug simulator-to-robot gaps, and help turn real-world robot behavior into reproducible simulation scenarios. You will work closely with autonomy, infrastructure, and field teams to make simulation a practical part of the development loop: reproduce field issues, improve autonomy, and validate robot behavior before returning to the field.
Technical Project Manager, Reality Capture
Field AI is at the forefront of robotic embodied AI, transforming industries like construction, security, mining, and manufacturing. Our autonomous robots operate globally, often in harsh environments, delivering critical insights to customers. Whether monitoring construction progress, ensuring safety compliance, or conducting predictive maintenance, Field AI is advancing technology to make a meaningful impact. About the Role We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of our 3D mapping projects while remaining hands-on with the underlying technology. This is a hybrid engineering and project management role where you'll contribute directly to the development of our mapping systems while driving projects from concept through production deployment. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in robotics software, computer vision, or 3D mapping and enjoys coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You'll work closely with engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing teams to ensure projects are well planned, clearly communicated, and successfully delivered. We're seeking someone with 4+ years of exper
Senior Reality Capture & Sensor Payload Engineer, Robotics Hardware
About Us Field AI is transforming how robots interact with the real world. We are building risk-aware, reliable, and field-ready AI systems that address the most complex challenges in robotics, unlocking the full potential of embodied intelligence. We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-based architectures, and are charting a new course, with already-globally-deployed solutions delivering real-world results and rapidly improving models through real-field applications. Reality Capture & Sensor Payload Engineer In this role on the Hardware Team at Field AI, you will deliver the sensor modules that turn our robots into data-collection platforms for customers. This spans sensor selection, calibration, electro-mechanical integration, validation, and the data pipelines that carry sensor output from capture through processing. Examples of sensor modules include high-resolution LiDAR scanners, PTZ and thermal cameras, depth cameras, GNSS/RTK, and gas detection sensors. Candidates should be familiar with concepts and workflows such as laser scanning, photogrammetry, digital twins, BIM, and deviation and change analysis. You will collaborate with the product team to
Senior Data Operations Engineer
FieldAI is transforming how robots interact with the real world. Our growing R&D team is based in Boston, where we develop risk-aware, reliable, field-ready AI systems that tackle the hardest problems in robotics and unlock the potential of embodied intelligence. We take a pragmatic approach that goes beyond off-the-shelf, purely data-driven methods or transformer-only architectures, combining cutting-edge research with real-world deployment. Our solutions are already deployed globally, and we continuously improve model performance through rapid iteration driven by real field use. About the Role Field AI is transforming how robots interact with the real world. Our R&D team, the FieldAI Research Institute (FAIRI), is based in Cambridge, MA, where we build risk-aware, field-ready AI systems that unlock general purpose intelligence for robotics. FAIRI is looking for a Senior Data Operations Engineer to run the day-to-day of our data operations function: building the tooling the pipeline runs on, staying hands-on enough to dogfood and stress-test that tooling yourself, and managing the interns and contractors who carry out the bulk of day-to-day collection and annotation. You’ll work d
